Library and Knowledge Transfer
The Library Sciences and Knowledge Transfer Branch (LSKT) serves the ERDC mission by supporting the research and knowledge management needs of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center using the technology and expertise of:

- Library Services and Resources
ERDC Library
The LSKT staff includes Editors, Library Technicians, and Librarians who provide a variety of services and resources for ERDC research staff.
Editors and Technology Transfer Specialists offer support and advice with:
- Editing engineering and scientific reports for clarity, consistency, accuracy, format, and style
- Editing journal articles, conference papers, R&D proposals, and ERDC publications
- Publishing procedures, publication design, reviews and clearance requirements, and copyright compliance
- Conceptualization and editing support for a variety of publication formats and media
The ERDC Library supports the mission-related research needs of ERDC scientists and engineers at three physical locations with a centralized library catalog and Web site. The ERDC Library hosts an online digital repository of ERDC-authored reports. Additionally the library provides access to:
- Over 300,000 items in the library collection
- Over 28,000 online journals
- Over 34,000 online books and reports
- Online research resources including IEEE, Science Direct, Web of Science, RefWorks
- Collection development and interlibrary loan services
- Research consultations, training, and outreach services
- Support for copyright questions
- Support for research and administrative initiatives
