FUDSMIS (Formerly Used Defense Sites Management Information System)
FUDSMIS (Formerly Used Defense Sites Management Information System) is a tool for managing Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) that require environmental cleanup and/or restoration.
FUDSMIS allows FUDS program managers to track and report FUDS property, project and phase data. The system also provides support for the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) and the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP).
FUDSMIS offers users a wide variety of capabilities and benefits, including:
- Online and real-time changes to be made to FUDS project data.
- Tools for scheduling and estimating project work plans, reporting to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, determining a project's level of risk, viewing historic data, and much more.
- A Geographic Information System (GIS) interface to allow users to see a project's location and boundaries.
P2 (Project Management Information System)
P2 (Project Management Information System) provides a standard tool for Program or Project Managers to facilitate project planning, execution, and management in accordance with the Project Management Business Process. The ERDC Information Technology Laboratory is responsible for its operation, maintenance, and enhancement.
P2 is a large software system composed of a number of commercially available applications. These applications have been interconnected and extended to meet project management and business processes requirements for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by:
- Maximizing consistent information retrieval and reporting
- Increasing workforce productivity
- Improving system response times and availability
- Enhancing system maintainability
RFMIS RD (Rental Facilities Management Information System - Redesign)
RFMIS RD (Rental Facilities Management Information System - Redesign) is the redesigned U.S. Army Corps of Engineers automated information system for military and civil facilities and other real property held under lease agreements. The system supports approximately 1,000 users from the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Army, Marine Corps and Navy Recruiting Commands, the Corps' Real Estate community, and the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management.
The Real Estate Systems National Center (RESNC), an forward operating element of the Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located in the U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile, is responsible for managing all real estate automated information systems. RESNC has partnered with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center's Information Technology Laboratory to reengineer the system to take advantage of the latest technologies.
RFMIS-RD provides the following:
